Ruukki's load-bearing exterior wall system created a free interior space to the building and thereby the possibility to create individually designed apartment plans. The system provided more living square meters, enough for one new flat. Thanks to the load-carrying exterior walls, large floor-to-ceiling windows could be built in the façade. This gave more light and increased living comfort in the flats. As there are no load-bearing walls inside, and as the partition structures are lightweight and movable, the flats can easily be modified also afterwards.

In a cost comparison, Ruukki's systems proved to be competitive. They gave the contractor an opportunity to serve the buyers of the flats individually. The systems also shortened lead times on the site and prevented damage from dampness during construction. More time also meant less hurry and better quality at the finishing stage.

The flats in the building were sold within a few weeks.
